I saw a documentary on wild dogs – in it two dominate males found each other in coveted territory with land and females as the prize, they met each other head on with front paws on each others shoulders - slashing their teeth on each others faces as an age old boxing match - from there they took hold of each others necks as in a clinch and from there rolled on the ground bargaining for position as the females and younger ones looked on, finally the stronger more dominant male gained top position and the combatant on the bottom tapped out. The winner went back to claim his prize (the pack).
This reminded me of MMA thus the phrase DogBoxer.

The symbol for Dogboxer – the Pit Bull. The American Pit Bull was the Dog of the United States of America during World War 2 behind his courage and gameness in battle along with his gentle love and meekness towards his family. The history of the breed reveals a very stable temperament and personality, intelligence, strength, loyalty and gameness. Gameness is defined as the willingness to see a task through to its end even under penalty of serious injury or death. Also called “heart”, much admired by MMA fans in a fighter.
The purpose of DogBoxer is to help and support and promote the combat sports. We feel everyone must work together to keep our sport alive and support those who truly sacrafice to bring the very best to the world stage, it is our goal to be a part in that endeaver ---- DogBoxer
